About Kakuma

A Community of Resilience

Kakuma Refugee Camp, located in Turkana County, Kenya, is one of the world's largest refugee camps, home to families from multiple countries. Despite incredible resilience, many families face ongoing challenges accessing safe, reliable drinking water.

The Pamoja Maji initiative works alongside local partners to deploy gravity-fed filtration systems, provide training, and support communities with a practical, sustainable solution.
